I've been wearing the band non-stop and I really love it! The stones also seem sparklier in this setting 
I had been afraid that bezeling them may block some light and may cause them to be less sparkly. So happy that it appears to be the opposite!

diamondseeker2006 - I love carre and french cuts and was thinking that square french cuts in this setting would be AMAZING!!!!
EHR2009 - I know the cost would depend on the metal and the size of the band but in platinum, the quotes I got ranged from 1400 - 1700. Most of the vendors were willing to credit me for the scrap price of the original setting towards the new band which would also knock down the price some.
