Carnelian Egg pendant

Today I found this 14k carnelian egg pendant in an antique mall. Only $50!
It is 1" long. So cute!
It did not come with the chain.

Ohh how lovely it has a bow too! Bows make me happy hehe. Love the carnelian.

And I'm just realising now Easter season is coming up (pandemic has dumbed down all seasons for me so far ). I've always had a fascination with jewel eggs, but somehow never get around to acquiring any. Do you have a collection?

I do not have a collection.....yet!
I while ago I was looking online for enamelled egg pendants, but never bought one.
But I have discovered that given time, something will present itself!
Dare I say that his one is reminiscent (read knockoff) of the coveted Schlumberger egg!

Gotta say, I love anything egg-shaped (that includes eggs!) and carnelian to boot - two of my favorite things!
