First I wanted to thank all of you who posted question and answers on this board. In one long weekend I was able to educate myself more than I could have ever thought. I'm positive that everything I absorbed saved me money and, more importantly, helped me get a diamond worthy of my Love. So thanks again!!
My search lead me to Whiteflash where I bought an ACA H&A .824ct, H, IF diamond. I called and spoke to Denise who advised, helped, and answered every one of my sometimes repetitive questions. My diamond purchase was in the $4000 range but she treated me as if it were a $40,000 purchase. I felt so comfortable with her knowledge and advice that I had it mounted in a Vatche X-Prong sight unseen. Whiteflash kept me updated every step of the way from purchase to delivery.
I picked up my package at FedEx the day it arrived and, not being able to wait, opened it in the car. I hope this doesn't make me sound too metro-sexual but I thought it was stunning!! I could not believe how beautiful it was. I had done some window shopping at the mall jewelry shops and let me tell you with all certainty that if I had purchased this at the mall it would have cost me twice as much. Actually, I was on a budget so if I had bought this at the mall my money would have only gotten me half the engagement ring.
