Can't Decide Which Solitaire Necklace to Buy

Hey,

I'm thinking of getting my girlfriend a solitaire diamond necklace for Christmas.

I've checked out the local stores and none of them seem to have the bezel style in white gold, but I've come accross an etsy store which I've pretty much decided I'll buy from.

The thing is, I can't decide which size to buy. I want something casual than she can wear every day and doesn't really stand out too much.

I'm thinking of either going with 0.15ct, 0.20ct, or the 0.25ct

But I'm having trouble picturing how it would look on her.

Does anyone have any feedback / input?

Thanks

I own stud earrings that are pretty close to each of those sizes (.125 each and ~.22 each).

Get the .20 or larger pendant. I promise you it won't look too large or ostentatious.

I will add that I have seen a tiny diamond - in probably the .10 range - set as a single-stone necklace, and it was utterly charming It looked as if the wearer was wearing a tiny drop of water or sunshine. It was set more "Diamonds by the yard (DBTY) style - with the "ears" opposite each other so the diamond looked like it was set into the chain rather than dangling from the chain, if you can picture that. With a more traditional pendant style the additional size and weight will help the pendant stay centered on the chain.

This is a lovely choice for a gift! Good luck!

Thanks, that's what I was thinking too.
