can''t decide. pendant or sapphire ring

hello everyone.
i was away from this website for a while, well, since march, and now i am back. in the meantime we moved to our new place and are expecting our second baby in less than 2 months.
we have a 21 month old daughter.

i purchased diamond studs h&a from whiteflash back in march and i could not be happier. i wear them all the time and i wanted to thank everyone and lesley, from whiteflash, for picking the right stones for me.

as i mentioned earlier, we are expecting our son in less than 2 months and my husband wants me to pick up a gift.

i am thinking of halo pendant or sapphire ring, cushion cut, just like missrocks has. i love her ring.
where can i purchase nice halo pendants or sapphires.
i have a budget for around 10 - 15 k if it is a ring and less if it is a pendant.

any suggestions or ideas where i can look. i am in nyc.
