Can't decide on a setting for my reset with BGD!

Hi!

I currently have an AGS 1.3 SI1 I that I am looking to reset (and possibly recut) with BGD. Since I cannot upgrade this stone based on where it was purchased, I am trying to make the most of it. This reset has been a long time coming and so I want to make sure I choose wisely! I need help making a decision and would love your suggestions.

I currently own the BGD Dream Half Eternity (http://www.briangavindiamonds.com/home/ring-details/?product_id=5392). I received this as a Mother's Day present last May in honor of my son who was born in June of 2008. I absolutely love it and have been wearing it in place of my wedding band ever since. (I was never that happy with the craftsmanship of my original wedding band.)

Anyway, which one would you choose?

Option 1:

Crossed Trellis 3 Stone

http://www.briangavindiamonds.com/home/ring-details/?product_id=5460

Although I prefer the six prong center/3 prong sides over the link I posted. It is not listed on BGD's site, but it is in their photo gallery. If this is the one I decide on, I plan on requesting a quote.

The reason I like this option is because my daughter was born last November and so each of the side stones could represent my children. This would also allow me to wear my BGD Dream Half Eternity with this ring, but I think a spacer would be needed. Not sure my thoughts on how that would look (too much metal?). Also, what size side stones would you recommend? I am thinking somewhere in the .4 to .5 range on each side.

Option 2:

Halo Engagement Ring

My concerns here are that I would need to have a new wedding band made to match (although more bling is never a bad thing!) and I am not sure if my current 1.3 would look too small in this type of setting.

Option 3:

Sarah Halo

Again, I would need to have a new wedding band made to match.

Option 4:

Classic Tiffany Style Six Prong Fishtail Pave + Wedding Band

http://www.briangavindiamonds.com/home/ring-details/?product_id=5509

I have always loved the "classic tiffany style" head, but just not sure this ring has enough to amp up my center stone.

Thanks for all of your help!!! :D

Vote for 3 stone crossed trellis, but I may be biased towards that anyway. I do like the idea of what the side stones means to you.
Sarah halo looks really great too. I've never really liked halo that much but that one looks gorgeous.

I like the 3 rd option the best.

The halo would make your diamond look huge, so if that is the look you are after, that would do it! I really like the three stone best because it would work with your dream wedding band. Also, I just think that is more practical for daily wear. I like #4 as well, but I can't see having to do a new wedding band when you just got the dream band.

If you have an AGS0 stone, why do you want to recut it?

I don't think she said AGS0, just AGS?

My vote is three stone! But I would not wear the Dream band (I have the original 8) ) with a crossed trellis, it will eat up the prongs like mad. You would need a spacer for sure, and you will need to see if you like that look. I don't.

Have you tried on some three stones and halos? Is there a Tiffany near you? I found it the best place to experiment with styles.

I like the 3rd and 4th options.

I am partial to the three stone because the two sides will represent your kids, the center represents your husband... And you can wear your current band.

I'm partial to the 3-stone as well. I love love LOVE their 3-stone setting. The added plus that you can keep your Dream band with this one works well, too. I think you'll love having two BGD stones on your hand along with your current stone. For being a plain metal setting, its a really interesting and detailed look. If I were to ever go 3-stone, this would be my first choice in style.

If you really want a major change I love the Sarah halo. I'm not a matchy matchy set person so I would probably just wear the existing Dream half eternity with the Sarah halo, but if you want a matched wedding band then that's certainly a large added expense.

You have great taste all around, though! Love your choices.

I like number 3 the best and the 4th one next. They would all be gorgeous.

My first pick could be #1, A close second would be #3.

I'd pick either of the halos for sure. They will make your 1.3 ct look huge!
