Can you use ultrasonic on your micropave?

And if so, how often is safe? Should I be worried about loosing stones? If I do lose stones, should I assume the craftsmanship of my pave is poor? I like to have really clean stones, so I clean a lot, but I give myself a near heart attack everytime I use ultrasound on my pave thinking I''m going to destroy it. Anyone have some advice on this? thanks!

I don''t own pave pieces nor an US cleaner but I believe the consensus they do not mix and it is highly unadvised to do so as the juggling action of an US can dislodge the stones.

Maybe someone else might have a better answer

On going discussion here. Someone did lose a stone while it was in the Ultrasonic, but the thought was that it was better to lose it and be able to find it than to have it fall out somewhere on the street. In the end I bought both the JewelJet and the Sharper Image Ultrasonic. I actually just got the US 2 days ago bc it was on sale for $50!!! The JewelJet was an Xmas present. I don''t plan on putting my pave in the US except for maybe every copuple of months. But then again, I can''t even figure the thing out, so that will be step 1! LOL!

I do. I have been told by multiple jewelers that good quality pave should be fine in the US. And that a home basic quality US won''t knock stones loose but WILL loosen stones that are already loose.

The answer is that I really don''t know but I do it anyway. But I only do it once a week, and just use a baby toothbrush daily.
