It depends on how many glasses of wine I''ve had.

After about six or so, I can spot a mounted ''D'' from an ''E'' 20 feet across the room in dim lighting with complete confidence.
LMAO!

I've got a J and all any one ever notices is the sparkle including me!

I can tell there's a bit of warmth if I look for it but unless it's put next to a D-F no one would ever notice. Theres no way anyone could ever tell the difference between a D and an E. When I was looking at diamonds I noticed that color grades made a bigger difference in price than clarity grades.

ETA: I love the bezel look, and the reflections from the white metal will hide the color difference from even the most discerning eye. While I love my ring and wouldn't trade it for the world... If it was a modern rb not an OEC, I think I'd wish it was an vs1 not a si1.
