Can you please help me understand this HCA score?

I’m upgrading the centre stone in my engagement ring (going from under 0.3ct to 0.91ct).

I’ve seen a diamond in real life & love it but of course that’s under the jewellers’ lighting!

From my time here ages ago I remembered to check out the HCA too - can you please help me understand the results? If you need more diamond info let me know!

This combo is one I think the hca is off on. There are combos that score over 3 that I would take before this one.

It is very possible that there have been major/minor damage to the diamond during the last 8 yrs.
You would not buy a car or house with a 8yr old inspection report, would you?

This will work in earrings or pendant and will look bigger and brighter than a "ideal" cut as long as the clouds are not making the stone dull - which is by far the biggest question over this diamond.
But as Karl says - it is not for a ring.
