Hi everyone,
I''ve been engaged for quite a long time (due to some crazy life circumstances we had to put the wedding off a number of times - nothing to do with our relationship and readiness for marriage, however), but the good news is that we''re finally ready to plan this thing! The problem is.... I am hitting a brick wall when it comes to the general style/feel I''d like for the big day. We have a venue, its an estate that overlooks a vineyard. The house is very pretty, sort of a spanish villa feel, but the outside area where we will have the ceremony and reception is pretty much a blank slate - some grass and an infinity pool looking out toward the vineyard.
This is what I need help with. When it comes to decor, flowers, linens, bridesmaid dresses, etc. etc., I just don''t know where to start. I purchased my dress a LONG time ago, thinking I''d be getting married in a few short months. While I''m not totally in love with my dress anymore due to the passing of time, I''m committed to trying to make it work so I don''t have to go through the trouble and cost of finding a new one.
My dress is la sposa faro. Does anyone think this dress lends itself naturally to a certain style or feel for the rest of the wedding? Thanks SO much in advance if you can help.
