I saw a diamond engagement ring at SAMs club, that I really liked the style of. It was a cathedral 4 prong setting, BUT inside the prongs was a round diamond covered bezel that actually held the diamond. The affect was the look of a whopping big diamond. So the prongs were actually hoding the bezel, giving more of an appearance of a solitare rather than a halo. I''ve never seen this type of setting before. From the side angle the ring looked like a typical solitare setting, all the diamonds were flush with the prongs. The center diamond did not sit up above the halo like most rings I have seen. The diamond that was set was only .70 and looked as big (ACTUALLY BIGGER) Tthan my 1.63 solitaire. I''ve looked all over and can''t find anything like it. I REALLY liked this ring, but don''t want to buy it from Sams.... Oh yeah I looked and it wasn''t on their website so I can''t use that as a reference.
