Can you convert a cushion setting to a round?

Can a cushion setting be converted to hold a round?

Here it is. I really hope it can or else I'm just gonna have to get a whole other ring with a h&a because I'm dying for one.

You will probably have to take it to a jeweller and ask but I am going to say you should be O.K if the round is too big it will just sit up higher and at the very worst you might need to get someone who can either alter or cut the prongs off and redo them to fit the new stone.

There might also be a bit of a gap where the cushion took up more space than the round... double prongs might help hide that though.
