can you add sizing beads to a YG full eternity ch. set band?

Just wanted to ask if you could add sizing bead to a yellow gold channel set full eternity band.

It has the tiny little pinholes on the inside of the shank. Would the material go through or could they add a little let it dry and add over it?

Actually, I don't even know how it work so sorry if that sounds silly.

Ideally I would like to down the size from 7 to a 6.

By the way it is a .59 tcw with 45 tiny diamonds.

Short answer, Yes. It can be done, and if you do not need to size it down very far, it will work.

From a size 7 to a six you will need to put in sizing bars, not beads, and they will not be nearly as wonderful as they would be going from a 7 to a 6.5 or 6.75. You may end up hating them, or be totally happy. If you are looking to buy a size 7 and hoping it will work I would pass.

Sizing beads / bars are created in advance as a separate piece, and then soldered into the inside of the ring shank, preferably using a laser welder, so the material will not fall through and there is no dry time involved
