Can this band be altered to make a matching engagement ring?

I have a band from Berricle, item R1188-B, that I really like. There was a matching engagement ring, but it has been discontinued. If I were to purchase another band, do you think it would be worth the hassle to have the second band altered to make a matching engagement ring? For reference, I included a third picture from the Pandora website; the reviewer indicated he'd had a Pandora band altered (added the solitaire to the band) to make a matching wedding set. Thanks!

I don't think there's any room to add a peg head with your band. Can you contact an Alibaba moissanite vendor and see what they can do for you in silver? That may be the most long term option.
