Can someone tell me if this is a good deal?

Sorry this is not 100% diamonds or an engagement ring, but I wanted to get my girlfriend something neat and different for her birthday and came across This I was told I could have it for $375 shipped, and am not sure if that is a good deal. Not to familiar with jewelry or how rare/common opal is but I thought it was a cool ring. Opinions/Advice are appreciated. Thanks!
