Can someone recommend an independent appraiser in NYC?

I am looking for an independent appraiser with a personal recommendation in NYC. See my other post (page 3 or 4) "Should I give her an heirloom ring"

DO a search and you''ll pull up lots of info. And if you pull down the "Resources" bar at the top of this page, the first option is "Appraisers" and you can find people in your area.

Surprisingly there are not many recommended appraisers in the Diamond District. I used David Wolf and was pleased.
