Can someone help me find a match for my ring?

My fiance purchased this engagement ring from a local jewelry store. It is part of the Gabrielle Diamond Jewelry Collection. It was not sold as a set, he purchased the setting and then picked out a loose diamond for the center stone. We recently went back to the store to purchase a matching band and we've been having nothing but troubles now. I had asked for the specific match to this ring, the sales person wanted me to try on all the rings in the store first to see if anything else matched. Nothing did. As you can see, it's got a bit of height to it, and I want the band to match the height of the setting. Everything I tried on was shorter than the setting and it really cast a huge shadow over the band and look entirely wrong. Another thing, it's a single prong setting, and that single prong is very small. Not even a millimeter in diameter.
After trying everything on, they said they would contact their Gabrielle rep and get back to me. Two weeks later and they've contacted me a couple times by email (only after I complained on their Facebook page) to let me know the match that Gabrielle came back with had 9 stones and was a smaller tcw than my ring. Which means the stone sizes obviously don't match up and the sales person said she didn't think it was a good match. Nothing since. I have asked for pictures of this apparent match that Gabrielle thinks they have, I have asked for more information as to what the Gabrielle Diamond Jewelry Collection even is and what the name of my setting is or if there was some sort of catalog number for this setting so I could try to find the match on my own. They are so hesitant to give me any information whatsoever, which is very frustrating.
Everything I find online that has a shared prong setting, it's not the single prong that is the style of my ring. I specifically wanted this ring because of the single prong setting. Every single prong setting I do find, the single prong "knob" or what have you, is pretty thick, or square...it's not the tiny less than a millimeter in diameter prong in my setting.
Can anybody help me please? Any info you have would be great. Are there terms that describe this ring that would help me in my google searching? Anyone have any experience with custom work? Is it going to cost and arm and a leg?
Thank you SO much.

Hi, I'm not sure what it is you want? That's very high and I can't imagine any diamond band being as high, but I could be wrong.

Your best bet is probably to go custom, that way you can have a perfect match in height. A custom made ring sounds expensive, but that's not always the case. Get a quote. Another suggestion for a custom route is www.thefacetscollection.com.. They can customize a shared prong wedding band to match your e-ring (height, width, number of diamonds and size). Hope things work out for you! I know how frustrating it can be finding a wedding band.

I just reread your post. You don't want shared prong. You still could talk to Facets and ask for a single prong. Sorry for the mix-up!

I don't know if my last post even went through or not, but what it said was that I've seen many rings that are this height, they just weren't the same style, they have the shared prong that has two little knobs instead of one like mine has. It's only about a hare over 2 millimeters WITH the small diamond in it. The picture makes it look a little taller than it is.
Lewood, is it shared prong or single prong? The description they wrote on my certificate says shared prong...so is it a shared single prong? Is that the appropriate term? Thanks for the link!

I can't see your ring well enough in the picture, but here's a description: a single prong has one prong (the metal separating part that holds the gem in place) but the shared prong has two prongs per separation.

Thank you. What I picture the "matching band" to look like would be 7 stones total, .14 ct each diamond. Like a total weight of .98. Just basically the same as the engagement ring, only where my larger stone is, there would be one of the smaller diamonds. Then I'd just get it soldered together and all would be just dandy.

This looks close, a 1 ctw (well, .98 ctw) single prong band: http://www.diamondharmony.com/women/rings/anniversary_bands/7_stone/round_single_prong/platinum_7_stone_1_carat_diamond_anniversary_band/pid/6561/572

But I don't think the height it quite right and I know nothing about the vendor. A lot of PS vendors have 7 stone shared prong bands, you could ask about a custom version with single prongs to match the height of your e-ring:

That first one looks pretty good, I'm going to contact them and ask the dimensions. That's the one thing I've had a hard time finding in ring descriptions, what the actual height is. Thanks!
