Isn’t he just stepping across to a new role instead?

... but his new position may pay less than his usual 18,827 trillion billion gazillion dollars an hour.
This would deny the poor man some of the lifestyle to which he has become accustomed. :cry2:

Isn't everyone legally and morally entitled to what they lovely things they are used to?
Isn't that what divorce courts have shown us?

You can't claim unemployment if you voluntarily leave, and there's a cap on the unemployment payout.

You're mistaken, Kenny, if you think his wealth comes from executive salary.

Jeff Bezos is rich because he is majority owner of Amazon, so anytime someone buys Amazon stock and bids up the stock price, anytime someone makes a transaction on Amazon, the profit from that transaction flows through to him.

Since it's not like he has sold his shares, he's still going to have this passive income even in his sleep doing nothing.

His divorce had way more of an impact on reducing his wealth/income than this move to step down as CEO ever will.

Sorry Voce, I was just being silly.

I laughed out loud at this one @kenny. So, thank you!
Poor, poor man!
