Can Inclusions Make a Diamond Appear Dark in that Area?

Pretty anal question, but I got some live pictures of my diamond, and I can't tell for sure if that's exactly where the inclusion is, but it could be. Anyway, I know the crystal inclusion is off to the side, so I'm wondering if it can be taking away some of the light? As you will see at about 4:00, the diamond is not giving off light and appears dark in that part of the stone--is that from the camera blocking the light or can it be caused by the inclusion?

Could be but most likely may be head/body obstruction or possibly leakage. Did you see what constitutes the clarity grade before you got it?

It's an SI1. But the dark spot in the picture looks to be under the table, and on the lab report, and close-up images online, show the crystal inclusions are on the crown angles. This is leading me to believe it head obstruction as you said.
