I did some searches for in house diamonds with pretty much the same specs...found a few...do you think I might beable to get a loose idea of how this stone might perform by doing this? I also saw some in the store that were h-i and si1-vs2 and they looked pretty good too

I''d advise you to have it checked by someone who has the advanced equipment such as ASET/ Sarin / Helium and PGS software to get a really accurate assessment of the stone.

You''ll need to send or take the stone to one of these appraisers. It has to be seen to tell.

What area are you in? Perhaps we can suggest someone for you to take it to.

You can judge other diamonds by looking at different color gradings (assuming they are graded by reliable labs). So if you wanted to see how white an H princess looks, you could go check some out at your local B&M. But you will not really be able to tell how one diamond will perform by looking at others. How a diamond performs has to do with its cut and it would be very difficult to find 2 diamonds with exactly the same cut. Even very similar cuts can look drastically different.

i have an appointment with an aprasier already that has all this equipment
