After changing my mind a million times on what I wanted for a wedding band, I finally decided to get two--a plain one and an eternity. I want as thin as possible, so I am going with the 1.3 mm Beverley K band as my eternity. But, I still want to find a 1.5mm FLAT plain band (white gold is great, palladium is even better). It is hard finding a band this thin, but I have found a couple. The problem? They are always domed or comfort fit. Does anyone have a super thin flat band? And, of course, I want to see pics, too!

TIA!

So perhaps I should just get my mind accepting the thought of a 2mm flat band?

I have a 2mm pipe cut band from www.e-weddingbands.com and you could always have it trimmed down by a local jeweler. Or email them to see if they''ll make it for you in a height and thickness that you like.

I have a 1mm band see picture below, however bad lighting took it at night, bought it from gemsofgold.com they also have white gold I think for $45

just a perspective picture, the plain bottom band is 4mm, then followed by my danielle jazz bezel about 1.8mm then the 1mm spacer, then my first ering. I don't have my other bar set eternity ring yet to wear with my other e ring (both are getting worked on) also you can see how low the profile is. sorry its late so the picture looks horrible. hope this kinda helps. I never wear my rings like this.

ETA: sorry all the verbage was pulled from another thread that I posted these in. Also I bought through their ebay store, which is actually less than their site directly.

LtP, I am so glad to hear that your is the pipe cut from e-weddingbands. I love your set, and that is exactly the one I have been eying as my realistic option after the search for thin has gone nowhere so far.

Thanks, D&T! You are giving me ideas! I love how you stack your bands, so maybe I can wear my super thin eternity as my spacer and wear it with a 2mm

I have a plain half round 2mm wedding band that I wear with my solitaire most days and I love the look. I got it from e-weddingbands.com as well (not comfort fit, measures 1.5mm thick)

ETA Honestly, 2mm is *very* thin/delicate. I think you would not be disappointed.

And because you are considering an eternity band as well, here is the same solitaire with the Dream Half Eternity Band (.55cttw) from BGD.

E wedding bands has been nothing but helpful for all of my purchases with them. I asked them to shave down a bit of height on my white gold band (first w-band was platinum and a bit too tall, but my e-ring is WG) and it came out perfectly - it sits perfectly flush with my e-ring. I''m sure they could do the same for you on width.

Do you know the exact thickness (height, not width) of the shank of your e-ring? It will matter a bit later since you have that bezel, and if you''re like me, the differing heights may drive you mad.

Or, I could be the only super OCD one here.

Thanks for the pics, Dreamer! You are completely right that 2mm is tiny. I sat today and looked for about 15 minutes at a line that was 1.5mm and another that was 2mm and there was really such a minute difference that I felt silly for stressing so much about it. In fact, it was so tiny that even using precision rulers it was difficult to draw either because they were so small.

Also, I was in contact with Lesley for awhile about getting "The Dream" as my wedding band because I love your band so much. The prong work is absolutely amazing, as I am sure you know. But, in the end, I was afraid that, because the prongs were so well crafted to let in optimal light, my asscher would get overpowered by the fire of the RBs. Short of the long--your band is actually too perfect for me to be able to select it

I think you have to be a little OCD to be into step cuts--all that symmetry and depth

You were totally right to suggest measuring the height. I had to go with the just flat cut (was planning on the flat comfort fit) but that would have been taller than I wanted. I went ahead and ordered it! This week I went from no wedding bands to two!
