Can I calculate a princess crown height %?

I assume that crown height % is also determined by total depth and side measurement. Also that Depth % - Crown Height % = Girdle to Culet %.

Please correct me if I'm wrong. The intricacies of diamonds are facinating.

You can make a direct measurement with a crown height gauge. A few of these are around but many guys don't know what to do with them.

You can compute the crown heiught in mm by plugging in the angle of the crown, 1/2 the table width and 1/2 the full width. You need some device to measure the crown angle properly..That's a problem

The subtraction method you propose won't be accurate.
