Hello

I have a few questions that I hope you can answer:
1. Can HCA indicate H&A in a round brilliant or that can be determined only by an Ideal Scope?
2. Are all GIA diamonds engraved with a GIA certificate number?
3. Is it to have one of the online vendors to ship the stone from overseas (India) - the stone has a GIA certification? I am not sure whether their will be quality issues or not going down this route. Has anybody dealt with anything a like?

Thank you!

Hello

None of the above, you need a H&A scope.

2. Are all diamonds engraved with a GIA certificate number?
No. The majority are though. The number itself doesn't offer "security". If you want to match the stone to a certificate, match the inclusion plot or take it to an appraiser.

3. It is safe to have one of the online vendors to ship the stone from overseas (India) - the stone has a GIA certification. I am not sure whether their will be quality issues or not
Yes, in general. Depends on seller. Quality is subjective.

Is the GIA at least in par with the american GIA?

Also, isn't the cut derived from H&A

I am not sure that the majority of GIA stones have the report number inscribed on the girdle. Where did you get that info spicyitalian?

I am not sure I'd have a stone brought in from India unless I really couldn't find anything else and I had plenty of time because I would still want them to do an idealscope image before I would consider buying it. There are some vendors who specialize in hearts and arrows stones and will provide those images (such as Good Old Gold and WhiteFlash).

Here is more info on hearts and arrows:
