I was looking for comparables for a consumer and found what looked to be their best option. Then I checked further and found that the diamond was listed on Pricescope as an AGS0 but has a GIA certificate saying the girdle was very thin to thin.

Can it be an AGS 0?

here's the certificate: http://search.virtcert.com/writable/scans/290458-c.jpg

So did I. What I also don't know is how close GIA and AGS girdle thickness grading is, so I don't know how likely it is that the AGS would also grade it as very thin to thin.

So, while I think a diamond was incorrectly listed here as an AGS0 when it isn't one, I'm not sure.

wait a minute...isn't that a superbcert?
here's the megascope report
290458-s.gif

this shows the girdle as just being 'thin' and gives it a '0' girdle.
So, I guess by AGS standards it is an AGS0???

No comment on the brand, if any. I deliberately refrained from mentioning that sort of detail so the experts would be more free to comment on the more general question.
