Probably not worth much at all. They're not gem grade. Probably not even industrial grade. http://www.info-diamond.com/rough/rough-diamond-sorting.html They look most like pictures of boart diamonds, which are the ones they crush up for diamond dust. Sorry.

I don't understand people sometimes. You wouldn't choose any other investments without at least Googling them first, and hopefully talking to someone more knowledgeable than you. What makes gemstones any different?

In any case, thritto - only a professional opinion would actually carry weight but you may as well write it off as a loss of whatever you paid and move on.

Based on the picture only, and the diamond-luster of the stones, they could indeed be rough diamonds of a very low quality.

Value, IF you find a potential buyer for them is in the range of a few cents per carat. Mind you, that value is based on potentially purchasing a business of 10,000 to 100,000 carats. For anyone interested in using this quality of rough diamonds, a small quantity like this is most often not worth the trouble.

Aside from the useful value, I only see some value for mineral-collectors, who need a rough diamond for the completeness of their collection.

Side-note: as these are clearly industrial-quality diamonds, they fall under a different customs-code as rough diamonds, and the Kimberley-Process does not apply here.

Live long,
