Can anyone tell me about this ring?

I was wondering if anyone could tell me anything about this ring. Especially if its real or not, and how much you think it would be worth. On the inside it looks like it says ROMANY, and possibly an 18k. Its a really old ring for sure.

There is no way to tell anything from a photo. Take it to a jewelry store and have the metal tested. They may be able to tell you the stone as well.

Still wouldn't hurt to have the metal tested.
