Can anyone recommend a good jeweller in Seattle or Vancouver

Hi all,

My fiancé and I got engaged in November 2013. We bought our diamond in LA while we were visiting my parents. Due to time constraints, we set our diamond in a simple 6-prong solitaire setting in 14k white gold (temporary setting). We are getting married next year, and I am planning to re-set our diamond into a 6-prong solitaire setting in platinum and getting a matching wedding band as well. I love Brian Gavin's classic Tiffany style half round.

We live in Vancouver, Canada and often travel to Seattle for day trips. I like the idea of having a jeweller close by who would be able to inspect the prongs, clean and polish the rings, etc. I am not looking to go custom, and I would like to try to keep the cost lower than Brian Gavin's prices (otherwise I would get the Tiffany style half round).

I would really appreciate any recommendations!

Bump!

No recommendations?

I was also hoping that someone could explain how one would use certain benches to set diamonds. For example, I've seen people post that the diamond was set by the bench used by Old World Diamonds or Singlestone etc. Are good benches available for hire by the public? And how do people know where to find them?

I do not believe these benches are available for hire to the public, it is my understanding that they only work with business entities.
