Can anyone photoshop stones on a ring?

Which one are you digging more to go with a mrb solitaire?

I am mulling over two options for a seven stone ring... 7 pointer rounds or 14 pointer emerald cuts(!). Could a kind soul put 7 stones of that size round on one finger and 7 stones of that size emerald cut on the other finger? Pretty please with sugar on it?

Thanks in advance!

I’m sorry usually I’m the one to do this but I’m on vacay. I’d someone still hasn’t done it by Sunday I’ll work on it

It's okay, Niel, thank you. I looked deep in past threads and compared carat weights. I think it will look similar to MakingTheGrade's 1.1 ctw emerald cut 7 stone. :geek2:

The emerald cuts go very well with a round soli!

Love the emeralds! Have you seen them set horizontally? That’s on my wish list!

Yes, they’re delicious both ways! Checking out a vertical 7 stone next week. How do you think this 1 ctw emerald cut 7 stone would pair with your solitaire setting?

I think it would be amazing! What I love about the classic setting is you can pair different bands with it. Every now and then I mix it up with a couple other bands— or stack a couple together. It makes for flexible.

What about asschers? They will have more movement and action where an EC has mostly large flashes.

Large flashes sound nice. I'm more drawn to the EC shape. My sister has an asscher in the same solitaire setting and I am encouraging her to get an asscher seven stone so we can match but still be different.

Do you think a 1 ctw EC 7 stone will have a much larger presence than the .5 ctw round 7 stone considering ECs face up smaller?

Go with the emeralds, it’s different and gorgeous!

Eeee! Would you look at that! Thanks, Nala! It really complements your e-ring. What are the specs of the band?

Wish I knew. Lol. It’s 3.9 mm wide. Matches my stone so it must be an I color. Set in platinum.

I love things that are different/unique so I would say go for the emerald cuts! It's not something that you see everyday and to me that makes it more special.

I would say however, that I think I like the emeralds channel set like in @nala 's ting and in one of the photos that you posted above. I find all of the prongs distracting and feel like the added smooth edge will help protect your stones and give a flusher fit. Just my 2 cents - best of luck in finding the perfect band!

To follow on from Octo2005, someone recently posted a bar set emerald cut 7 stone of around that weight I think. I can’t remember who for the life of me, but if you like the clean lines of emerald cuts then I agree with Octo that channel set or bar set keep that stream-lined look of step cuts very well.
