A quick google search and there is a Kimberly jewellers in Australia (a few actually) in which case it's probably Aussie chrysoprase, there is a Kimberly jewellers in South Africa and one in the US. My guess the stone would be chrysoprase, prase or maybe if you are lucky Jade.

I can't say anything about where it comes from, but the stone looks like spinach nephrite jade to me.

The bamboo style band would imply jade from china. You'd need to test the metal though to get some idea of value.

From the look of the stone, it appears to be nephrite jade. It is not very old. My guess it was made in the 60s.

Someone in the other thread mentioned there was formerly a Kimberly Gem company, which made both diamond/gold jewelry as well as gemstone, synthetic stone and gold filled jewelry.
