I noticed that there is a strange engraving on one side of the ring. Anyone knows what it means?
"PLAT" is marked on the other side

Chocoberry, welcome to PS! I agree with you, it is strange looking, and I have no idea what it would be. A manufacturer''s stamp maybe? Totally guessing here......
