Does anyone have any idea where I can find information on this earring (if any even exists)?

My wife has had this earring set in her family for 4 generations. Recently on a flight she lost one (and was devastated).
Her family is from Germany, so I'm guessing that's where these earrings came from. I'm also guessing they were from the 1800's but I really have no idea.

The center stone is a diamond (it's clear but looks colored in the one picture for some reason) The center diamond is no larger than 1/10 carat.

Really appreciate any help!

Here's one more picture of the earring in better lighting

Check the earring for stamps as those can sometimes help identify country of origin and time period. I think I see a “585” on the earwire, but check the flower part as sometimes that can be changed for comfort or wear. It is a lovely earring and I’m sorry to hear she lost one. That is a terrible feeling. She could have a jeweler, who is very experienced in milgrain, create a match for her. Or, she could have the one she has converted to a necklace, ring or bracelet.
