I can only post a link sorry, but it's a 3/4 marquise shape set with RB eternity style ring. It's very similar to the style I've been looking for but just haven't foiund exactly the right thing as yet. I would be interested in a casting so that I can have BGD set it with some beautiful diamonds ... thanks all. 3/4 Marquise shapes - it's called Cienega and I can't seem to link the exact page unfortunately. Sorry!

That is a beautiful style! I''m going to do some hunting, and I will be back!

I like that first one beachezz, thanks so much - I shall investigate.

Glad to help! keep us posted on your search!

ooo I like those!

Hey D&T, thank you so much for that link - I only just saw it and it''s almost perfect ... I just love that twisty look. Have you bought anything from this seller before can I ask?

hey love- no not personally, however I know that Tourmaline Lover in the color forum has bought a ring from them with halo- she mentioned that their craftsmanship was great, I did however talk to them, and they were quite professional and prompt at returning my emails. I think they also have a return period on their listing. Hopefully this helps.

thanks - I have contacted them. my biggest problem is that I''m in Australia, so the 14 days would very quickly be up when you include shipping, but also the shipping cost to return would become quite prohibitive versus the cost of the ring ... but it''s such a reasonable price I think it''s worth risking. What a great find - thanks again for pointing it out for me! If I go ahead I will be sure to post some pics!

oh, bummer... I was going to ask if you were in the states... had a funny feeling you weren't . let me see if I can find TL's setting so you can see their quality.... be right back

ETA: here is TL's beautiful setting from them, she says they are a bit more delicate looking than the Lord of Gem Rings also on Ebay (the stone is her own, not Yigal's)

Hey, thanks D&T and gemgirl ... I am getting closer. I have found what I think is the same casting at Adwar which would make sense because Yigal''s turnaround time was so short for a custom option, so I am waiting on a comparative price from BGD as of course I would love the best diamonds I can get in there. I got a price from Yigal on using light pink diamonds in rose gold, but I''m not convinced they wouldn''t just look like dirty not quite white diamonds seeing as they''d be so light! I will let you all know how I go and what I decide!

I was just going to suggest this option!

thanks dreamer daschie - I am hopeful ... I just love everything they do

and look at what I''ve found ... I have a price from BGD in pretty much this style (except using one larger stone in the marquise shape rather than three tiny ones), and am looking into using pinks in the marquise shape rather than white diamonds, but it will come down to price. I have a couple of P6 surprise diamonds in my ER that I would love to match. Given I already have pink diamonds, would anyone consider using sapphires rather than pinks? My current pinks are really insignificant seeing as they''re only 1 pointers, but I don''t think it would feel right to compromise.

and just for fun ...

your price would be much higher using pink diamonds with saturated color. So I would use pink sapphires as you can see the color a bit more plus they will cost you much less, unless there is a reason why you would want pink diamonds?

back to the original post and D&T''s ebay suggestion, I can get this with pink diamonds for only $30 more - but I am guessing the colour of the pinks would have to be pretty poor? Does anyone know? The same site has a rose gold simple eternity using pink diamonds, but I would prefer pinks on white gold in which case they might just look like dirty diamonds!! For around twice the price, I can get BGD white diamonds in the adwar setting which is probably my preference ...

D&T, only because some pink sapphires look a bit cheap in my opinion, and also because I don''t understand them or their sparkle factor. I assume they don''t sparkle in the same way that a diamond does, but I might be wrong as I really don''t know them at all. Do you happen to know?

hmm, I do see what you mean, Gemstones are cut for their color, while they do not have the 'same' diamond sparkle factor as you are looking for like that of a diamond (they can be cut to the diamond specification, but you would lose the color factor) (you will have to find a vendor that you trust to source out melee size sapphires) but if color you are seeking then I would go with sapphire. But if you ok with pink treated diamonds, most likely they are using treated diamonds, and not natural as natural pink diamonds are very pricey and if you are looking more intense color the price goes up.

yes, I do know what you mean and I had wondered if the ebay ones were treated, but haven''t actually asked or looked. BGD are getting the setting in for me and will send me a pic with sapphires and white diamonds to have a look, and I will decide from there. I think if I can get a rose gold setting I might be leaning towards that, in which case I think the white diamonds will be fine anyway. I don''t think I''ve seen pink sapphires set in rose gold for comparison but I''ll do a bit of a search.

Those two rings I posted iwth pink diamonds have a price tag of $5000 - $7000 AUD (approx $4-5.5 USD) so I definitely think the pinks are going to push my budget way too far at the moment!

OK, I am just deciding whether I can go a rose gold version (providing Adwar do one), either with alternating white diamonds and pink sapphires, or straight white diamonds. here is a similar style and I''m interested to know your thoughts. I have also come across Tacori''s "Tessa" rose gold ring with pink sapphires (which is stunning!) just trying to see what pink sapphires look like on rose gold. This ring is a bit of a "baby" ring in honour of my little girl, to go with my other rose gold ring which was in honour of my little boy, so I like the idea of pink and pink. Anyway, sentimentality aside, what do you think (versus white gold ring with alternating white & pinks)?

I think that looks beautiful Love! I think in either metal color choice it will be beautiful, I know BGD just did a white gold bezel with pink sapphire and diamonds so you can see the color of the sapphire. but let me dig around for other rings.

ETA: here is the sapphire bezel that BGD. I think the sapphires look amazing and not too dark, in white gold. let me poke around to see if I can find any rose gold with pink sapphires, I know I've seen them, just gotta remember wehre...lol

this is from the natural sapphire company, they have three different pink sapphire color category, I know this is not the light pink for sure. Just to give an idea of different color saturation.

I am 100% bias but I love pink stones in rose gold. I think it would be perfect to celebrate your little girl!

ETA: when I ordered my Tessa ring BK had 5 shades of pink for me to choose from.

Thanks D&T - that''s actually the ring I got some inspiration from, but I think it looks beautiful in the white gold whereas I think this ring will end up being paired with my rose gold RHR. Not that I wouldn''t mix though, I think white and rose gold look quite complimentary. My DH is far prefering the pink and whites on white gold, so that might give me my answer! Thanks for the pics on different shades too, that''s really helpful.

Tacori - that''s really helpful to know there was a range of colours to choose from, most that I see are quite bright and I personally would prefer a much lighter shade, so I will see what BGD have.

Mine were not the lightest offered. I can''t remember if it was the 2nd or 3rd shade but it goes from a pale pink to a bright flamingo pink.
