Hello, I am usually in the colored gemstones forum, and now I am helping a friend find a big pink pearl. Does anyone have a recommendation for a pink pearl necklace or a seller with pink pearls? I'm about to check out some websites listed here but I won't have much of a chance until Sunday evening.

A large pink pearl, cultured or natural, budget is 2k. Thanks!

1. How large? Give us a range.
2. I'm not clear on whether you are looking for 1 pearl or an entire pink pearl necklace.
If one pearl, loose or a pendant?
3. How important is roundness?
4. What quality are you looking for? That will determine sources. And price, of course.

The market now is cultured pearls so a large pink natural pearl is not going to be found for 2K (if at all!)
Pink is a color that occurs naturally in freshwater pearls.
Not-perfectly-round and not huge, you can find pink FWP for not a lot of money.
Huge and round, you are talking about Edison FWP.

Thanks for the reply. How big? I don't know. As big as $500- 2k can get i guess? One large pink pearl. Oblong or tear drop is ok. Loose or pendant is ok. Cultured is ok too. Very pink but not hot pink she said.

OK, so you are going to be googling to find a pink Edison pearl. This is a cultured freshwater pearl with natural color. (Natural colors are pastel-- no hot pinks!)
You may as well look for a finished pendant.

I'll look too!

Here is one that is 11-12mm and on sale:

You might also just call Pearl Paradise and ask what they have in the vault (they have a lot more pearls than are on their website.)
