My mom has EGL Israel diamond and she wants to sell it but we ant to know approx price we go to store.
I really don't know anything about re-selling price so i really appreciate your help.
An i already called several stores and they told me that they are not buying any EGL certified diamonds. wth....

Typically jewelry on the second hand market sells for 30%-50% off retail. The problem is, EGL graded diamonds are difficult to sell because they are known for their loose grading, and therefore impossible for a perspective buyer to feel confident that they are truly getting what you say your are selling them. I would feel more confident purchasing an EGL stone based on an appraisal by a reputable PS appraiser.

Are you hoping to sell the stone independently on ebay or something similar or are you looking to sell it to a diamond buyer?

A GIA certificate will run you about $150 (I'm including some shipping costs). It won't increase the value of your stone, but it will give you a better idea of its value and will probably give you more options for selling it.
