I am looking to set a marquise e-w (about 1.2 carats, lucky DBF inherited it!) and love love love your setting!! I have been working with Bob at Whiteflash on something very similar (with a little less bling for my budget) but have a couple of questions if you don''t mind.
1) You mentioned in a previous post that it moved back and forth on your hand a lot. I plan on wearing it all the time and that would drive me crazy since I type all day long (I''m a lawyer). Do you still have that problem? Mine won''t be quite as wide as yours since it is a smaller stone (stone is 10 mm across). I have thought about getting a square bottom if that would help?
2) How do you like your wedding band being up under the head of the ring? I''m thinking of doing the same thing, wanted to see if you still liked it now that you''ve had it a while.
3) What is the width of your band and what size diamonds are in it? I''m doing them on the top of the band only, not the sides. I was thinking 3 mm band (so stones will be about 2 mm or .03 ct each) but I think that might be bigger than yours and may be overkill with the big halo on top? Especially with a matching band?
