Hi All!
I was recently engaged and not all that familiar with RBs or diamonds in general. I love my stone and I’ve said it many times- it’s a chameleon. It’s constantly changing and I love that.

I posted two pictures below. The first one is the one I’m questioning. What’s the glass like looking piece in my stone. Culet? Facet? Depth? The stone is Ex/Ex/Ex from GIA K SI1. It doesn’t bother me and you can’t see it all the time at all. I’m just curious.

The second picture is how it looks under certain lighting conditions. 799F67A8-5DB0-4BB8-AFE2-AEDFC9F8180F.jpegCA9422B3-4FD3-41E2-8E27-3FE5437E4AD7.jpeg

Are you talking about what I've circled in red? If not, you're going to need to do a picture with the area circled. Just pointing to the ring is
probably not enough to know what you are asking about.

Yup! That’s exactly what I’m talking about.

@tyty333 Your photo is better circled than mine, but I wanted show what I was referencing to D34945F5-D8C8-4F82-8C17-6DD88928E5C1.jpegas well.

Can you post a copy of your certificate?

Is it always that orangish color? Or does that change based on the environment you are viewing? Meaning it's picking up background colors.

It shouldn't be the culet. Most MRB's have pointed/none culets. As opposed to OEC stones where the culet is very visible.

Pic of OEC stone with culet circled in red:

Without the red mark up:

Table reflection. It is not the culet. Only one side appear bright and enlarged because the stone is tilted and there is light from the windshield I guess.
I think the stone has deep pavilion and/or large table
