Wedding Calling Mandarine!

I absolutely loved your entire look on your wedding day! I especially loved your hairstyle. I will be wearing a mantilla veil as well, and hope to also have flowers in my hair (probably stephanotis). I love that your hair is not in a super low bun but rather looks like it''s more at the middle of your head - it''s been rare to find pics of brides wearing mantillas where the mantilla was not right at the top of the head, or was tucked into a super low bun!! I also have long sideswept bangs.

I guess I''m wondering about your hair texture - it looks about 2" longer than mine currently is, and thicker than mine, so maybe it wouldn''t work so well on my hair. How did you decide on your hairstyle? Did you have any "inspiration" pics that you showed to your stylist??

How was your mantilla attached - was it on a comb or pinned in??

I actually have very little hair. It''s wavy and I was afraid it wouldn''t look so full...but she just made it look like I have a lot more hair than what I actually do!!! hehe

I showed her some inspiration pictures and talked her through it. I will post some of those pics and will look to see if there is one that shows the hair better.

The mantilla had a comb and I didn''t want it on top of my head so she tucked it in on the top of the bun!

Thank you!! I bought it from another bride I found online because she was a 3-veil girl..hehe..
The veil is by Pronovias, it''s the Olga veil (probably from last year''s collection)

YUMMY!!!! Thank you SO much for sharing your photos. I especially like how the comb is attached to the veil to make a little ruffle up top - I think I will definitely ask the salon to do that. Gorgeous bride

I loved that about the veil too. I just really got lucky with that veil!!!!! I paid $200 (new with tags) but those veils retail for a lot more...I was just so lucky to find a girl that needed to get rid of 2 veils...hehe
