In the interst of stopping the threadjacking of sweetpeababycorn's thread...I'll move our discussion over here!
(only share if you feel comfortable doing so...)
Where do you go to school/where are you looking to go? What year in your undergrad are you?
My school (University of South Florida) had a concentration for the Bachelor's degree in "LSH" for Language, Speech, and Hearing. I've heard some schools have a concentration in just Hearing which I was always so jealous of! My program had 16 major courses (outside of General Education requirements) and only 3 of those 16 were Hearing focused. I really only count 2 of them as the third was Aural Rehabilitiation which is really Speech Therapy on hearing imparied individuals.
I definitely wonder sometimes if I made the right choice, but ulitmately, I'm good at my job, I'm a valued team player, and I've managed to make a great living the last several years while getting another degree that will only advance me further for $0. So it's hard to 'regret' it, but I do often wonder as I would be finishing year 3 of the AuD program now had I gone through with it.
We also had another class that was a state requirement that was essentially all about the clinical processes and we had required intern/clinic/shadowing hours to do. I did all of mine in the Hearing clinic and learned so much about cochlear implants and hearing aids, it was a pretty awesome experience.
