Hi Lynn
,
As you know, I'm considering how best to set my 3 carat stone and I've been admiring your gorgeous rings from afar for a long time now. Whilst I've still made my final decision, I am leaning towards yr e-ring setting (more) and the second split shank Leon setting (it is gorgeous too, but because I do wear my wedding band I'm not so sure).
So I am writing to ask your permission and hope you don't mind that I make mine (when I do) the same or similar to yrs.
Also, I have a few other questions for you:
1) forgive my stupidity, but what exactly are the differences between yr fish-tailed setting and a shared-prong setting?
2) yr rings seem very flush, how high/ low is the "head" on yr e-ring? I've tried on several combinations and found that if the head on the e-ring is too low, it doesn't sit flush with the w-band. On the other hand, I am not keen on a high head, purely because i'm such a klutz and i'd be prone to hitting it against things all the time.
Appreciate your input.
