First you may want to click on the 'Report Concern' button on your post and ask admin to move it the the Colored Stones forum, where it will reach people more knowledgeable about FCDs.
I'm certainly not the only person versed in them.
I'm not sure how much help I can be but I'm good at rambling ...

The Vimeo video you posted showed the vendor's name, Leibish.
Looking at their recent pages of sold diamonds I found yours.

Yours seems to have color on the less-saturated end of the Fancy Intense Yellow range and the yellow is not as attractive or evenly distributed as two other 2 ct Fancy Intense Yellow Ovals currently listed at Leibish.
And at 58.2% it's rather shallow, but all of this must have been taken into account in the price you paid.
IOW, with FCDs, especially from the same vendor, you get what you pay for ... if the color was on the stronger side of the Fancy Intense range it would have been more expensive ... see below ...

Leibish has two other 2 ct Fancy Intense Yellow ovals for sale now.
Of the three I like the following one best for its clean, lemony, fresh, and attractive yellow hue, the cut and the VVS2 clarity but it costs $30,100 ;( :

I like this $20,425 2.21 ct Fancy Intense Yellow SI2 oval next: http://www.fancydiamonds.net/view_diamonds/10013.htm#.Ug6LnxbA4qY

Frankly of the three I like yours the least, but I suspect the price was the best of the three ... so it doesn't matter what I think ... if you feel that the one you bought was the best value for you then that's all that matters.

When I have the luxury of a choice of a few diamonds I usually end up picking the smallest diamond in my price range ( IOW the best color, cut, & clarity), not the largest diamond, which is what the vast majority of people prefer.
IOW, please do not pay attention to my spec preferences just because you think I know a lot about FCDs.
Everyone's spec preferences are equally valid.

If you have the funds or the credit I'd buy the other two an compare all three of them side by side and return two.
Keep the one you feel is just right for you.

I am not sure if you can respond but what would think it should have priced at based on the other 2 stones. I am just asking for your best guess. Thanks again.

That fat SI2 is NUMMY to my eyes.

Re: Calling Kenny: Everyone seems to trust your judgement. H

I am concerned about the windowing that appears to be showing in the oval you bought Showtime. In the video, there are quite a few angles where you can see through the diamond. That is not desirable from a cut perspective :blackeye: Can you notice that is real life?

Sorry, I always chicken out on price guesses.
Unlike white diamonds graded on the D-Z scale, FCDs are just to complex and rare.
FCDs of identical specs can vary enormously in price because the GIA grade of Fancy Intense Yellow includes a huge range of colors and tone/saturations ... plus some can have a hint or brown or a hint of green or a hint of orange, but not enough to be graded Fancy Intense Brownish Yellow, Greenish Yellow, or Orangish Yellow ... but I guarantee to one with a hint of brown will be much cheaper than the one with a hint of Green.

I agree that yours is not as well cut as the other two above.
Unfortunately the video does not look at the table on axis.
They should have raised the camera up, or put a dot of wax under the culet so when the table faces the camera the diamond is aligned with a line that runs from the culet and through the center of the table and through the center of the camera's lens.
Then we could better judge cut and windowing in the video.

Personally I'd seek out a Fancy Intense Yellow of 1.5 ct or below that has top color and cut, but that's just me.
Once again though, almost everyone compromises on every other spec to get the largest diamond they can in their budget.

Re: Calling Kenny: Everyone seems to trust your judgement. H

Hi Kenny, first I would like to to THANK YOU for your courtesy in answering all of my questions especially that you do not even know me. HAAAAAAAAA. So THANKS! Secondly, if you are either from Chicago or ever visit Chicago I owe you a nice lunch and I am true to my word. Now for more of my relentless questions. I am currently working on some other alternative providers but let's for the time being say if they did not materialize of the 2 alternate stones you posted which one of the two would you select. Are the dimensions quality? If you could give me some color no pun intended on why you would select that one. If you could also "if possible" tell me if the more expensive stone's price is high based on what you see. Thanks again for your help!!!! Have a great weekend. Regards
