Hey there!

I''m just on the verge of ordering my common prong JA ring and wondered if you got your wedding band made yet. I have a 1 carat marquise and am afraid the matching band won''t sit flush. I read in one of your other posts that you were going to have them make the band. So I was wondering if you''d done that yet and how it turned out.

Hey guess what, after double checking, we were told that we would be fine if we just ordered the matching band. So I didn''t need to return my e-ring to have a custom one built after all. Hehe I''ll sneak some pics while my fiance is sleeping. Shh...

Thanks for posting those for me!!!! I really appreciate it. The gap was the one thing holding me back, but I think after looking at yours my mind is at ease. For me, the itty bitty gap you mentioned is no problem!! Your set looks amazingly beautiful!!!

It''s funny because after I found you had the setting I wanted (I originally was interested in the french cut pave from JA but saw that this one was set higher and that appealed to me.), I read some of your posts and found you like a marquise with pear side diamonds. That''s my "dream ring" for one day!! So it sounds like our tastes run similar.

Oh I had another question. Did you find your rings to be "true to life" with JA? I used their ring sizers--did the string thing, the sizer you cut out, and compared a current ring that fits--and I found it giving me almost a full size bigger than I have ever worn. I''m ok with that so long as it''s accurate, ya know?

Marquessa, no problem! Yeah, the itty bitty gap doesn''t bother me at all. I love how sparkly and dainty these bands look. Mine is the 1.9 mm, is that the one that you are looking at too? I''m pretty sure that Brown Eyed Girl has the same setting, so maybe she can chime in too.

I sized my finger at a local jewelry store. I ordered a 1.9 mm band from JA and a 3 mm travel band from e-weddingbands.com both in size 4.5. The JA one is bigger and the e-weddingbands one is smaller, but that might have to do with their width also. I can''t remember exactly, but I think that I tried the JA paper sizer and it did give me a bigger size than I expected. I think they''ll mail you a plastic sizer if you ask for one. That might be easier to use and more accurate.

Yup, looking to order the 1.9 mm as well. The only thing I have left to do is copy the GIA certification on my diamond (it''s STUCK in my fire proof safe. The key is hidden somewhere in this house--hidden from any burglars and ME! I ordered a new key this week.) and choose what size I want. And I''m still kind of stuck on that point ....
