Calling herekittykitty + Owners of Daniel M Halo Pendants

Quick question for any of you who own one of Daniel M's sliding halo pendants (not the plain gemstone ones)... Do you find that they flip forward? Do you feel like you're adjusting them regularly or do they just kind of lay as they should most of the time?

It does flip a bit, but I think no more than any other halo pendant would. What I don't like about it is that the chain seems a little flimsy to me. I may change mine to have a more substantial chain eventually.

Herekittykitty, thanks so much for your (quick!) answer I'm talking to Caren about having a similar pendant made, but I won't be getting a chain from them, just the pendant. I'm thinking of asking them to put some kind of bail on it, but I wonder if that would ruin the fluidity of the design?

If you don't mind my asking, what mm size is your center stone (a spinel, right?) and diamonds?

Obviously I think you have a really beautiful necklace!

Nevermind, I found it! 5.9mm and 1.3mm

Mine is a 7mm pink tourmaline. Proportions would be a bit different, so we'll see.
