Okay, so I did things a little backward.

I fell in love with and bought a setting from LOGR but I don''t have a stone to go in it. I''d like to get something bright - preferably hot pink, bright yellow (LTP I love your sapphire!), or electric blue or green. My budget isn''t great but I can go up to $300.00 if it''s fabulous enough

. I''m attaching a pic of the setting - I hope it works.

Oh boy, i'm really no help, but i really like your third (green tourmaline) and last choice rhodolite garnet. what color of metal did you get? wg?

ETA: sorry now I'm loving the cushion emerald pink sapphire one instead... thats my #1 choice... looks like a pretty color

D&T - I upgraded to 18K WG and VS diamonds.

Ok, my humble opinion:

1 - something about the symmetry seems off. I am not in love with the colour and it seems overpriced (and over your budget)
2 - stay away! Mystic topaz is a fancy name for coated topaz. Comparing mystic topaz to precious and imperial topaz is just wrong: these two are natural stones. Regardless of your position in regards to treatment, the colour on this can be scratched.
3 - the green is rather muddy to my eyes
4 - I like the light lavender, but I think it will be too light for your purposes (you do say bright!)
5 - I think this is the stone that will best suit your needs. The colour in these stones are usually nice and bright and it is within your budget. There is a PS member that has a royal rhodolite suite that is pretty amazing. Rick is also a great guy to deal with.

I vote for number 5! It seems to have a great color and Rick is awesome.

Thanks, everyone! I just put in an order with Rick for the Royal Rhodolite. Now I just have to convince the BF to let me use his camera for a photo shoot!
