1st one has bad p3 angles.
Haven't looked at the rest yet, maybe tonight but what are the numbers from the report on each? cvd?

The video does not show crystal issues as well as some other videos but im not seeing major ones.
@DejaWiz can you see if you can hunt up more videos on #4?

5 has a couple areas I'm not sure about, for the most part it looks good but based on current info I would call it undetermined.

Of the first 5 I think #4 has the most potential.

Please post the numbers for the rest.

6 looks good.
7 too much of the stone goes dark at once.
8 is a big no, clearly the worst of the lot.
9 looks good
10 has a largish zone that goes dark all at once but not as much as 7. Overall looks good.

6,9,10 ask b2c for ASET images.
If they have them in stock they may be able to do so.
Which leaves 4 and maybe 5 above to see if you can get more info.
With no more info but a good return policy 4 or 6 or 9 are the highest potential ones to look at in person during a return period.

UPDATE!!!

So I Ordered #9 - 4.28ct G VS2

It came in a black display box, and I immediately I noticed 2 black lines / long facets, one on either side of the keel / culet. When I place it on my hand, I can see my skin through those windows.

I have a couple of other step cuts, and none of them do this. I don't know if I'm being too critical or if this will go away once set?


So I ordered a second one so I can compare in person 4.30ct F VS2

While waiting for them to secure it, they called me. Wanted to know why I was dissatisfied with the 4.28, did I realize they're the same dimensions (which I did, on purpose), the F is better than G but that's the only difference, so do I really want the 4.30 too. I tried to explain the windowing I was seeing in the 4.28, he asked if I had looked at the videos of the stones (duh!), but eventually acquiesced and said they will get the 4.30 for me. Just a weird vibe.

AITA? I just want a beautiful stone, and for some reason the 4.28 just isn't "scratching that itch".

I didn't see the windowing on the video, had to stop it to see what you're talking about. You're sending the 4.28 back, right? You'll never unsee those windows.

Yes the 4.28 is the one I see the windowing in.

How does the 4.30 video look in comparison?

The 4.30 looks better, although there might be a tilt window that's too apparent. Ask for more opinions, I don't trust my eyes.
Inclusions, I don't see them.

Its never sure until you see them. Even with ASET video and pics it just shows potential.

What I do: I watch the video and stop the rotation with these <and >. Advance one click at a time, you can see if the facets turn on and off or stay static (not good). Also try minimizing the video to very small, easier to get an impression.
But most of all, do what Karl said, hold it and turn in different lighting conditions, see if it stays lovely. ECs defy formulaic judgement, part of what I love about them.
