Hi everyone,

I have quite a collection of 5mm round stones and i am not sure if I would set them as stackers. I know some vendors like Cecil Raley designs manages to do great work with small stones.

So I’m looking for setting ideas like those particularly for a teal blue tourmaline.

Please do share your small stone ring collection !!

Oooh do you like halos? Do you mind those premade settings or do you want something custom made for the ring?

Not sure if this helps but this is my 6.8mm sapphire in a premade setting.

I say double halo all the way! I double haloed my under one carat emerald (oval though). Makes it look much bigger!

Thank you for sharing! Readymade settings are ideal I think but not sure I can afford a diamond halo. I want a different solution. I’d rather have an enamelled halo or something

Have you considered making a toi et moi ring or a DBTY style necklace?

Most of my stones in my rings are 5mm. I set them in settings that have more finger Coverage with litlle bit of diamond aCCents that gives the main stone a bigger presenCe, and even sometimes makes them appear bigger.

1)Heated Blue Montana sapphire

2) Colombian emerald

3) Unheated yellow sapphire

They are fantastic! I am shamelessly just rip off the yellow sapphire One :Up_to_something2:

I have considering A toi et moi ring but to be honestly I want the stone to stand on its own as much as possible. That’s just my personal taste

I like these a lot, I have one with all emeralds, the center one is 4.5mm, but it would be fun to have different colors...

Your emeralds are 4.5 mm?

They are graduated, the center one is 4.5mm, tapers down to 3.5mm

Ahhhh..That makes sence. I'm working on a 4 mm stone bezel ring, but still sorting out the design.

I like the idea of a multicolored or ombre band, but it kinda depends on what colors you have. You could do stackers, if you are likely to change your rings a lot to suit. You can have the stack rings made with an more antique flare.

I have been thinking of a hexagon ring or octagon ring to help give more finger coverage.

Thanks for sharing :)
