I love that ring, too! You may want to check the Henri Daussi website. For some reason, I have it in my head that it may have been a Daussi cushion setting. It's one of my faves for sure. I hope beau13 can get more scoop for you!

fogdancer, look up just beau13 - it''s her brother in laws wife''s ring, hence the BIL part - but she had it made by a Canadian jeweler that''s local to her. She has a lot of threads up about it if you search!

I will look the link of her post and I visited many times Henri Daussi....
I like the rings of www.jeandoussett.com as well, but his Halo is keeping my eyes on it...lol; of course in my country this ring will cost a fortune, so I am trying to talk with a friend who sells diamonds I am in love with cushette and this design...it will be cut by cut dream...lets see what future holds..lol

Hopefully, this photo will load properly. What do you think of this cushion setting from the Daussi site? The diamonds seem to flow down the sides of the split shank the same way. The setting is called CTW-ATW. Beau13''s BIL''s wife''s ring has a bit of an airline around her cushion than the one in the photo, but it looks pretty bang on to me.

The idea about Halos and the center stone a bit higher than the diamonds halo catches me, love the split shank and what I like in that ring is the line between the split shank is very thin, unfortunately the quality of brazilian diamonds is not good, and we don''t have certifications like GIA, I am in love with cushions and lately cushettes, I have two small diamonds and this goal for me is very personal, it will be a dream to make it step by step, because I am at home full time, taking care of my granny she''s 83 years old, I can''t afford platinum so it will be white gold, but thinking in to buy loose diamonds, a friend of mine works with precious metals and diamonds, usually he brings them from Africa.
Lets see as a dream it takes time.
