Acck! I feel like such a freak, I''m actually resetting my diamond into a solitaire!!! But thank you, I agree it''s

I will be doing a gemstone in it instead for a RHR. I just like my ering to be worn all the time and for me, this setting was a little too delicate (I''m very clumsy and whack it all the time).

Oh I''m so sorry, don''t worry!!! They are very well made and I never had any problems, even with the tiny halo diamonds.

It was just in my mind that it was too delicate and I had to be so careful with it, there was nothing that happened that made me think it.

I''m just a teensy bit paranoid. Plus, I had trouble reaching the pavillion during cleaning, I couldn''t stand looking into my diamond and seeing pavillion smudges!!! I am so ocd

tacori halos seem to sit high and i''ve never seen one in person either, so i was wondering the same thing! the barely-there halos are just tooooo die for!!!

I hope not! I just ordered a Tacori wedding set and intend to wear it daily. My e-ring does not sit too high, but it is a 3-stone, not a halo style.

akmiss: The setting sits about 6-7mm from the base of the head to the top of my diamond, I had the diamond set as low as possible. I also had the WF stock 6-prong and it was about the same height as it, so not uncommonly high.

I did use the ultrasonic occasionally, but mostly a (daily!) soak, scrub and jewel jet. I feel comfortable using the ultrasonic as they are so well made.

Is there anything I didn''t like? The cleaning was an issue for me, but I''m guessing that wouldn''t bother 99% of people.

The setting is absolutely gorgeous and I love the different flashes of sparkle from the diamond, halo and sidestones! Driving on a sunny day was very hazardous

Glad you like my set! I just love it! It is from Levy Creations in Chicago, http://www.levycreations.com/

The style number is 4570 and the matching contoured pave'' band is 4570 DW. They do not sell to the general public, but if you have a jeweler friend, as I do , they can call them and they will ship it right out! I originally saw this design at a local B&M, sneaked my way into finding the designer and got my friend to order the setting for me and he supplied the center stone. I just love it! Good luck finding your perfect ring! I came from a three stone 1/2 carat princess with matching princess sapphires, so this was a huge change for me, but I love it!!
