One of the coolest sources I found during my plus-size wedding planning was Hips & Curves. An online plus size lingiere boutique with a special "wedding section". I bought this to wear under my dress. And have some pretty cute "prep" shots with my mom & I strapping that sucker on.

One Knot thread I found particularly inspiring was this one: His Doll Face which was recommended by a fellow Pricescoper. She''s a curvy girl with amazing style, who pulled off a complete "vision" for her wedding day. It was my "North Star" during planning & gave me confidence that curvy can look cute on "the big day."

is for people trying to sell their gowns and consequently has pictures of girls of all sizes in their very own wedding gowns (as opposed to plus-size models. or any models for that matter.). The larger sizes are kinda slim pickings, but it''s better than nothing! Good luck!

Oh thank you thank you for starting this thread! I am plus size, I''ve been searching for plus size bride photos for some inspiration but they have been difficult to find. I will be wearing a strapless dress, I''m especially interested to find photos of plus-size girls in strapless dresses. Unfortunately I don''t have any pictures of me in my dress yet. I''ve been searching for awhile because it seems like everything I look at shows size 4s. One thing I''m worried about is not being able to try on the dress I want. I''ve got my heart set on a Maggie, Rosemary Leigh, but after I order it, what will it look like on me? Frustrating!

Lane Bryant does a wedding line now, as does Igigi but some people have had quality/service issues with Igigi, so buyer beware.

Incidentally my dress is a Maggie knock-off. I wanted a Maggie sooo bad but I was in the same situation where I didn''t want to order one without trying it on first. My dress is at the seamstress right now but after my next fitting I will post a pic . the dress you wore was one i fell in love with at david''s. ended up getting a dress at another store. having to try on dresses was sort of traumatic, especially when you find out you have to go a size or 2 up!!
