Calling all James Allen engagement ring owners...

Hey all,

I'm pretty sure I've chosen the setting for my future wife's ER. But aside from the brill videos of course, the pictures of it actually on a hand are all computer generated! So I'd be really interested to see any real life pictures, just to set my mind at ease.

If anybody is the proud, (or not so proud!) owner of this setting, in whatever colour or metal, I'd love to see it!

Mine is quite possibly the same one as yours, tyty! It's nice - I like the design. The prongs are a little bulky though.

OP: I haven't seen this in person but I've googled this setting extensively, because I love it, too I found a real-life shot on Pinterest, let me see if I can find the link.

Edit: I'm so sorry! I mistook the ring you posted (James Allen Petite Diamond Accent) for the ring for which I've saved real-life photos (Blue Nile Petite Diamond Engagement Ring). They are similar, but not quite the same

I don't know - I asked them to do claw prongs... this is what I got.

Love your ring! To be honest I didn't even think that asking them to change the prong shape was an option. But worth considering!

The stone is 0.82 carat. And having looked at a bunch of styles I settled on this - I know she wants something a little more sparkly than a solitaire, but I thought all the full pavé settings I saw distracted way too much from the centre stone. And since I'm spending by far the bulk of the money on that, why do anything to take away from it?? So this ring seemed a nice half-way house.

Elizabethess - yes I saw that Blue Nile one too and loved it! But found the perfect diamond on JA, so looked for their equivalent!

this is a really lovely setting, one of my favorites from JA! It has just enough bling, not so much that it detracts from the center stone and the tapering toward the center stone is just really flattering. If you scroll down to the reviews, you'll see some real life photos. i just don't remember anyone posting real life photos of this setting..

My ring is from JA and the stone is 5.9 x 5.96 mm, similar in size to yours.

wow...beautiful! Its funny because I placed an order for the exact same ring 2 days ago ( before i even see this post), but I changed my mind for a different setting since I was able to take an additional 25% off. I didn't really like how the prongs look from the side, and went with the pave crown. If my gf doesn't like it, I will definitely go back to this setting.
