Montreal, Quebec. Now if you want to talk poutine, you HAVE to talk Montreal. And smoked meat of course. All this talk is making me hungry. Believe it or not, when I was in high school, I ate poutine EVERYDAY (school day) for 6 month. After 6 months I went cold turkey and haven''t ordered one since.

I LOVE poutine. None of the fancy stuff either - just classic Quebec style poutine. Mmmm...

Former Manitoban - a Winnipegger (born and raised). Now call Southern Alberta (not Calgary!) home, been here a year this weekend. Yee-haw! Different from Manitoba for sure but we love it here. DH was born and raised near Edmonton but has been living all over Canada since then for his military career...he has always wanted to try Southern Alberta out so when he retired from military and could, and I found a job here....it was an easy choice!

Don''t kick me out of the club..but never liked poutine - too rich and fatty for my taste buds - never much one for fries or gravy (shock and awe)! I like the cheese curds though!

I actually have never eaten poutine!

I am vegetarian and was raised that way too, so gravy is not my thing. Laney And yes, I am LOVING the weather! Simply gorgeous today.

Naty, did you get your two beautiful wedding dresses in Toronto? I love both of the dresses you showed pictures of in BWW but I didn't even bother to ask where you got them because I thought that you were living in Greece.
